Consumptive Hospital.

CnniaTCHUHCu, Yesterday. It wag decided at the conference on the subject hyld to day, to recommend the Hospital Boards in this provincial district, to accept tbo offer of the local branch of the British Medical Association to build and equip a sanatorium for consumptives, which is to bo maintained by the Boards.
Application for a renewal of a hotel license in this city was adjourned by tho Licensing Committoe at the annual meeting to-day, tho chairmsn stating that if a continuanco were carried ar, the next local option poll, tho premises would have to be re built, and if a redaction were carried the committee would have to consider whether the houso in question was in snch a condition as to entitle it to remain. He added that the policy of tho committee had resulted in Christchurch being placed in the front rank in the colony as rtgards hotel accommodation.
