Burglars at Work.

Melboubnk, Yesterday. Burglars made a big haul at. Helen Meyer's jewellery establishment, Eliza-beth-street. They gained entrance by cutting a hole in the floor and secured £4000 worth of jewellery, and escaped by the back as the manager entered the front door. This morning another jeweller on the same premises met one of the burglars in a passage. He declared he had been locked in and was allowed to go.
