Too Far For Horses, Not For Men.
Press Association —Copyright. Received July 5, 5.36 p.m. London. Saturday. The War Office, replying to representations from the Awrralasian Chamber of Commerce, declared that the distance separating Australia and Great Britain precluded Australia from being regarded as a source of supply for horses. The Government was invited to form remount -breeding establishments in Australia.
