FACTS FROM FEILDING.
• * (Own Correspondent.) Feilding, Saturday. Arbour Day may be well spent by planting trees in Victoria Park. Feilding. Mr J. Cobbe reminded the Council at their last meeting that £50 had been placed on the estimates for improving the Park. In spite of the fact that a road ranger is employed by the Board numerouscattle and horses are allowed to wander about the Feilding roads unmolested. A gentleman, who is a ratepayer, informs, nic that when travelling along the country roads he has found these animals in daily evidence, enjoying the pastures of the " long paddock." In order to meet the requirements of country visitors the skating rink is kept open on Friday afternoons. It. is needless, to say that to day quite a number . availed themselves of the opportunity.
