Harry Palmer reports as follows ;— H Our mart was crowded to the utmost, - H a large entry of pigs and poultry and a H big drapery sale no doubt being respon- H sible. H Ducks still fetoh a good price, the de- I mand for duoks and good cockerels being H unsatisfactory. We quote—Good young hens 3s 6d to 4s 6d, inferior sorts 2s 3d to 2s 9d, cockerels 3s to 6s 6d, ducks 4s Id to ss, half-grown birds Is to 2s per pair. All lines of produce sold equally well, on'.ons and potatoes increasing in value, On Wednesday we held a sale.of cows for Mr Flynn, prices being good, running from £5 to JEIO 2s 6d. Sows were in great demand— £7 3s, £6 6s, £6, and £4: each; porker J9l 7s, weaners 12b, ; All other lines at good prices. .
