3lr H. J. Woodfield announces that his standard bred trotting stallion,; Robert W., will travel the Palmerston and surrounding districts this season. Robert W. is a beautiful dark bay horse, standing 17 hands high, showing great quality, substance, bone and power, and has "a splendid temper. He is by the imported Berlin out-of the imported mare Fanny Allen. Berlin, from Woodford—Mambrino 2-21-_, Calista 2-19; and Fraulein, the dam of the mighty Fritz, are by Berlin. Robert W. has only raced on three occasions, being placed first once and second twice. His stock took first, second and third prizes at the last Haweia Show. The terms are £2 payable on Ist January, 1905, and £2 payable when mare proves in foal. Grazing will be provided at the rate of 2s per week. Every care will be taken but no responsibility. Mr Woodfield will be pleased to supply any information breeders may. require.
