The Wellington team is as follows: Full-back: Cunningham. Three-quarters: McKehzie, Fisher, and East.
Five-eighths: Wilson and Robinson.
Half: Pegden. 9 Wing forward: Gardner. Forwards: King, Osborne ; W. Ryan (Petone), Beard, Cotter, W. Ryan (Athletic), and Price. Emergencies: Capper, McEwan, Owles, Alley, Elioitt, Ready, and Parrant.
J. Twomey, who has represented Marlborough during recent years, ha*s been selected as full-back in the Wellington teani to play Canterbury on Saturday.
It is the intention of -the Marlborough Rugby Union .to arrange a contest with the Marlborough "reps." and West Coast at Grey mouth on ■Wednesday, September 9th. and negotiations are now being entered into with the West Coast Union. iThe Soddon Shield match against Buller will take place at Westport on the following Saturday. . .
