POST AND TELEGRAPH HOLIDAYS.
On 25th December (Christmas Day) and Ist January (New Year's Day) the Postal Department will observe a close holiday.
Thursday, 26th December (Boxing Day), the Post Office will open in all its branches from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Mails usually despatched on. 25th December and Ist January will close tho previous (Tuesday) nights at 7 o'clock.
Telegraph. Branch.—On Christmas Day the" Telegraph Office will open 'from' 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Boxing Day and New Year's Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. to midnight (telegrams to bo taken upstairs).
Telephone Exchange will open 9 a m. to 10 a.m. on Christmas Day, and the usual hours on Boxing Day and Now Year's Day.
