Wellington, December 19. l he agricultural statistics published in the Gazette to -night show that as compared with last ye ;r the area sown or intended to bo sown in wheat this season lias decreased by 42,269 acres and oats by 88,586 acres. The quan- \ lt£~°Lyh?*\ ia hand is estimated at 1,2-00,047 bushels and oats 1.685,870 bushels. ■
