LONDON MAEKETS. [UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.] Washinton, September 11. The American crops will be fire points below the average of the last decade. London, September 11. British wheat is suffering from met, and is not expected to yield more than 85 per cent of the estimate. The money market is very stagnant. Tallow— Mutton, medium, 255 ; do beef, 23a 6d. . The English wheat market is depressed, the Continental dull, and the American declining. " ' " The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated 10th September :— Tallow— Market is firmer. Fine mutton tallow is worth £26 los, and good beef £24, per ton. Frozen meats— Mutton market quiet ; beef market firmer. Canterbury mutton is worth 4Jd, and Wellington mutton 3£d per lb. New Zealand beef, hindquarters, is worth o|d, and forequarters Sfd, per lb. New Zealand" Hemp — Market has an upward j tendency. Medium is worth £22 per ton.
