THE BROKEN HILL DISPUTE.
Adelaide, September 12. The Government of Now South Waleg has requested the Government of South Australia to facilitate the movements of the police sent to Broken Hill. The Ministry, however, declined, adopting what is called a policy of strict neutrality. Probably this act of discourtesy towards a friendly Government will be ventilated m the Assembly. Contractor Baxter has been unable to obtain men at Broken Hill, and has gone to Melbourne to bring up his own men.
