TOKONUI GORGE.
The attendance was small. The chairman of the retiring committee (Mr Thomas) was voted to the chair, and reported a credit balance in cash and school books on band of £18 7a; 38 on school roll', average attendance 26 - 4. Seven gentlemen were nominated, and, beiag the retiuired'number, were duly elected — viz., Messrs E. Thomas (chairman and treasurer, te-elected), G. Earwaker (secretary, re-elected), J. Shankland, R. Neil, D. McLean, T. Brown, and C. Pascoe.
