Stronach, Morris and Go., Ltd., S'©nort for week ending Thursday., ],3th March, 1930, as follows: Fat Cattle—There was a lamy large vaiding, 251 being forward. The bulk of the entry consisted of medium weight; bullocks with a big proportion oi cows and boilers and a lew pens of extra prime bullocks.. Prices were easier alt round by futfy pi per head on last sale’s rates, prime bullocks Al7 10s to £l9 17s fid, medium £ll 10s to £lO 10s, light £ll to £l3 10s. Prime cows and betters £lO to £l3, medium £0 to £lO, light from £8 upwards. Fat Sheep.—There was large entry, 2155 being penned. These consisted principally ol medium and light weight ewes and wethers, the number oi extra prime wethers foiward being small. Prices for heavy weight wethers were on a par witn late i tiling rates. Exporters, however, were operating at reduced limits and medium weight ewes and wethers showed a decline of from Is to 2s per beau on late ruling rates. Extra prune wethers to 80s Oil, prime 29s to 325, medium 20s to 28s Od, light 21s to 255. Extra prime ewes to 26s od. prime 19s to 225, medium 10s to 18s Oci, light from Ms upwards. Eat Lambs.—There was a small yarding, 828 being penned. These consisted ot only fair quality, a number m pens being ol unfinished sorts. Competition was slack, and prices were easier all round by fully Is per head on la-sJ 1 sale's rates. Extra prime iambs to 29s Od, prime ‘23s to 25s Od. ■medium 21s to 235, light from 10s upwards. Pigs.—There was a small entry of fat pigs and these sold under good competition. Prices for stores were a Shade easier.

Oats. —A low samples are now coming to hand, and ‘A grade gartons are bringing up to 3s 3d, B s to ‘2s lid, on trucks, country sidings', sacks extra.

Wheat.—A number of samples arc coming Forward, and millers arc talcing any lines suitable at the following prices:—Tuscan 5s 3d, Hunters 6s, and Velvet 6s 3d. on trucks, country sidings, according to railage. Fowl wheat meets with fair enquiry 1 at up to (>s ex store, Dunedin. Potatoes.—Consignments have been coming to hand more freely, and prime tables now arc bringing up to £6 ex truck, Dunedin.

ClialT. —Consignments are now coming to hand more Ireely, and the demand is confined to prime bright oaten shear, which is bringing up to £5 los ex truck, Dunedin.
