On July 22 there was a strong gale from the X.F... which caused considerable damage [o the shipping in the barium- a: Lytteitou. The brig Daniel Watson dragged iu-r anchors, drifted on to a reef, ami Ikumiui- ;i total wreck, The barques l'et ami A. 1!. I'adger, also dragged their anchors, and. wv dvivt up the harbour seme distance. At Little Akaloa the Straggler, ketch, and Rambler, cutter, were driven ashore ami wrecked. The Coleroon brinffs out about 20 first and second cabin passengers, but no emigrants; she also brings out a valuable bull aud two heifers, consigned to Mr E. Keece.
