The N.Z.S.N. Co;'s s.s; Taranaki, CaptFrancisi arrived in harbour yesterday, at seven a.m.. Capt. Prancis reports sailing from Port Chalmers at two p.m. on the 20th inst., arriving as above. Experienced fine weather and.light breezes throughout the passage. The Governor was expected to visit the Bluff in the Brisk, and decorations, &c,, were being got ready for his reception' there when the Taranaki sailed; The Taranaki sailed for Wellington and other northern ports at two p.m. Thb P.N.Z. and A.H.11. Co.'s s.s. Eangitoto, Captain J. W. B. Darke, R.N.R., carrying H.M.'s mails, left Hob on's Bay at 5.30 p.m. on the 13th inst,, arrived at the Bluffat 5 a.m. on the 18th, thus, making the,' trip in the. short time of four days and twelve hours, Left for Port Chalmers at 6.30 a.m. on the 18th, arriving at 4 p.m. on the same day. Left Dunedih for Lyttellon at 4 p.m. oh the 20th inst,, arriving in harbour yesterday morning at 10 a.m.; sailed for Wellington and Melbourne yesterday at 6.30 p.m.
