MAIL NOTICES.
Mails per Airedale, for England, the Australian Colonies, India, the Moditorranoan Ports, Otago, and Southland, will close at Cbristchurch at 7 a.m., and at Lyttelfcon at 9 a.m., on Wednesday, the 14th inst; and at Kaiapoi, at 2.30 p.m., on Tuesday, the 13th inßt. Money orders must bo procured before 1 p.m., and letters for registry must b« posted before 6 p.m., on Tuesday, the 13th inst. Late letters, for places beyond the colonv, by payment of an extra shilling stamp, ami for places within the colony by payment of an extra sixpenny stamp upon each letter, can bo posted ut Christchurch until 9.80 a.m., and at Lyttclton until 11.80 a.m., on Wednesday, }he 14th inst. Mails per Phoebe, for the Northern ports of New Zealand, will close at Chriatohurch at 8 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 11 a.m., on Saturday, the 17th inst.
