THE Undersigned, believing it to be desirable for the convenience of their constituents that they should establish branches of their business on the West Coast of Canterbury, have decided upon dispatching a member of each firm to Hokitika, to make arrangements for opening there (and, if necessary, at other townships on the West Coast) establishments in connexion with their houses ia Christchurch for the Sale, on Commission, of Cattle, Sheep, and other Stock. The designation of the joint firm will be, M Wilson, Burnell, and C 0.," for whom the undersigned solicit the support of stockowners and dealers who may be about sending stack to the West Coast, assuring them that all business entrusted to them will be transacted with care and promptitude. Account sales will be rendered and settlements made immediately after sales are completed. ADVANCES MADE ON STOCK.
