STEAM POSTAL SERVICES.

"We have received the following notification from the General Post Office.

* Denotes arrivals. f Denotes departures. The s. s. Auckland leaves Sydney on the 15th, and arrives at Auckland on the 22nd, leaving that port on tho Ist, and arriving at Sydney on the Bth. The names of tho particular steamers above mentioned cannot always be relied upon, as the respective Companies may substitute any of their authorised steamers. It will be observed that passengers from Napier by tho steamer of tho 6th, and from Manukau and other ports by steamer of the Btli, can proceed to Melbourne from Otago by tho English mail steamer on the 18th. Passengers by steamer of 15th from Sydney to Auckland can proceed South via East Coast on the 23rd. Passengers by steamer of 25th from Sydney to Nelson can proceed either North or South from Nelson on tho 2nd. Passengers by steamer of 2nd from Bluff and other ports to Nelson can proceed to Sydney from Nelson on 13th. Passengers by steamer of 10th' from Melbourne to Otago can proceed North on the 20th via East Coast, or on 25th via Nelson to Manukaii, Possengors by steamer of 20th from Otngo to Auckland via East Coast can proceed from Auckland to Sydney on the Ist. The steamers via East Coast, North and South, meet at Napier. Those leaving and arriving at Manukau moot at Nelson, The East Coast steamors coming North meet the West Coast steamers going South at Wellington, and vice verm.. The Chief Postmasters at the various ports are specially instructed to report any irregularities of arrival or de. parture in tho above services.
