W. and N. Joynt report a large attendance of the trade and others at the opening sale m their new premises, Cashel street, on the 3rd instant, large quantities of groceries, oilmans stores, wines, spirits, and potatoes, were disposed of. They quote a few of the prices obtained. Pint pickles, 13s per doz.; half-pint sauces, 10s 6d per doz.; bottled fruits, 16s per doz.; figs, Is per lb.; pearl barley, 4|d per lb.; currants, 7d per lb,: old torn, 38s per case ; geneva (red), 47s per case; sherry, 13s per gallon; potatoes, £5 5s per ton.
