August 21, 1863. 3759 TOWN LAND TO LET ON BUILDING LEASES, OXFORD STREET, LYTTELTON. THE, Lyttelton Municipal Council invite TENDERS for LEASING the GROUND known as the barrack square. A plan of the block, with the sections as laid out, may be seen at the Police Office, The leases to be for 14 years, to be extended without increase of rent to 21 years, if substantial storip or brick buildings are erected by the tenant within the first 7 years. In the case of applications by the samei person for two contiguous sections, the two will be submitted to auction as one lot.

On receiving an adequate tender, the Municipal Council will submit the sections tendered for to public auction, the tender being taken as an upset Srice; in case of no advance, the tenderer will be eclared the lessee.
