LEITHFIELD is situated 27 miles north from Christchurch, the Great North road running through its centre. The hotel, which at present affords every comfort, is about being enlarged, so as to meet the requirements of the increasing number of visitors and residents. A great number of sections have already been fi old, both by public auction and privately, those disposed of at auction realising from £12 10s. to ■£'-2, which proves the value of the site. The remaining sections of the township now laid out are for sale on easy terms of payment. Early applications are requested.
