NOTICE TO CONSIGNEES. a i mmS vessel having reported at X the Customs, consignees are requested to pass entries, present hills of lading, and pay freight to the undersigned, without whose order no goods will be delivered . Arrangements have been made to lighter the caigo of piipi»pnf i«ofpQ Consignees desirous of transhipping their goods to Christchurch must send in, at once, full particulars to the agents, and unless such goods are impeding the discharge of the ship, they will be kept back for first steamer or lighter, as may be ordered. Consignees objecting to the above arrangements for lighterage will please send written notice to the undersigned, on or before the 27th instant, after which it will be necessary for such consignee to have a lighter alongside the ship, ready to receive .roods as they come to hand.
