POST OFFICE NOTICE. Mails per Lord Ashley, for the Australian Colonies, India, the Mediterranean Ports, and Dunedin, and supplementary mails for England, will close at Lyttelton and Christchurch on Monday, the 13th inst., at 5 p.m. Late letters, by payment of an extra sixpenny stamp upon each letter, for England and Dunedin only, can be posted at Christchurch until within three hours, and at Lyttelton until within one hour of the sailing of the steamer on Tuesday, the 14th instant. Money orders for the latter mails must be procured both at Lyttelton and Christchurch before 4 p.m. on Saturday, the 11th inst. F. E. Weight, Chief Postmaster. Post Office, Lyttelton April 2, 1863.
