The town continues full of life with new arrivals. , Until the next steamer's arrival from Melbourne there is not likely to be much activity. Should the news by next mail be warlike, we may expect some speculation in articles most likely to be affected. There is free enquiry for bulk and bottled beers, and parcels near at hand would realise full rates. There is also an improved demand for twist tobacco.
