OLLIVIER & SON have been favored with instructions from Joseph Hargreaves, Esq., to Sell by Public Auction at Edd's Horse Repository, ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 22, The following splendid Thoroughbred MARES, imported per Mermaid from Auckland. Their pedigree and performances are as follows: CLOUD. Bay mare foaled in 1852; got by Siraoon out of Clinchus, dam by Humphrey Clinker, dam by Langar out of Mother Birch by Dick Andrews. (See page 426 of the 7th volume of the General Stud Book.) Best Performances: won the Great Lancashire Produce Stakes, Liverpool, July, 1854. Won the Devonshire States Maze, July Meeting, 1854. Won the Ulster Stakes Maze, July Meeting, 1855. Bay mare, by Porus out of Coquette, Porus out of Camilla by Septimus,—E.T.B. Coquette by Dow out of an Emigrant mare. Gazelle is sister to Kauri Gum and Heather Bell, and whs imported from Sydney.
