Moorhousc, of the Royal Vetorinary College, was got by Conqueror, a pure-bred Clydesdale; out of Diana, the best-bred Suffolk mare in England. Grand-dam by Euphrates, great-grand-dam by Old Smolenski, who realized, by private contract the sum of £2350. Westminster is six years old, dark iron grey, stands 17£ hands high, on short legs, is unequalled for power and bone, and is allowed by competent judges to be the finest draught horse ever imported into the Southern Hemisphere.
