I' 3. KAIAPOI & RANGIORA MAIL. I Tenders will be received at this office until noon I on Friday, the 20fch January, 1860, for the conI veyance of mails between Kaiapoi and Rangiora I twice a week, for 12 months, from the Ist day of I April, 1860. » Mails to start from Kaiapoi on Mondays and X Thursdays, half an hour after the arrival of the h mail from Christchurch, and from Rangiora on H Tuesdays and Fridays, so as to reach Kaiapoi by I 11.30 a".m. CARRIAGE OP MAIL BETWEEN I KAIAPOI & SALTWATER CREEK, I ONCE A WEEK. 1 Tenders will be received at this office until noon m on Friday, the 20th January, 1860, for the conH veyance of mails once a week between Kaiapoi and H Saltwater Creek, for 12 months, from the Ist day I of April, 1860. m Mails to start from Kaiapoi every Tuesday at 9 H a.m., leaving Saltwater Creek on the return to JH Kaiapoi at 3 p.m. on the same day. - H 5. LYTTELTON .& AKAROA MAIL. B Tenders will be received at this office uutil noon M on Friday, the 20th day of January, 1860, for the as conreyance of a mail weekly between Lyttelton and H Akaroa, for 12 months, from the Ist day of April, i 1860, by one of the following routes: — 1 Ist. By the route by boat to Pigeon Bay; thence I by land to Duvauchelle Bay, thence by boat to I Akaroa, or varying this latter part of the route by 1 land from Duvauchelle Bay to Akaroa. I 2nd. From Lyttelton to Purao (or Rhodes' Bay), I from Purao by the direct road to Duvauchelle Bay, I thence to Akaroa by land or water. I Tenders must provide for receipt and delivery of I the Pigeon Bay mail on the journey either way be--1 tween Akaroa and Lyttelton. I An open bag to be takeu up and delivered at I Duvauchelle Bay if required. I No mail to exceed 40 pounds in weight. I _ Three hours to be allowed at Akaroa after the deI ivery of a mail to the Postmaster for the return I mail to be made up. I The mail to start from Lyttelton every TuesI day, and from Akaroa every Thursday. Tenders for 1 this service must include the cost of conveyance of I branch mails to and from Pigeon Bay, and must I state the route proposed to be adopted and the spot I at which the branch mails, will join the main line.
