LYTTELTON .& AKAROA MAIL. B Tenders will be received at this office uutil noon M on Friday, the 20th day of January, 1860, for the as conreyance of a mail weekly between Lyttelton and H Akaroa, for 12 months, from the Ist day of April, i 1860, by one of the following routes: — 1 Ist. By the route by boat to Pigeon Bay; thence I by land to Duvauchelle Bay, thence by boat to I Akaroa, or varying this latter part of the route by 1 land from Duvauchelle Bay to Akaroa. I 2nd. From Lyttelton to Purao (or Rhodes' Bay), I from Purao by the direct road to Duvauchelle Bay, I thence to Akaroa by land or water. I Tenders must provide for receipt and delivery of I the Pigeon Bay mail on the journey either way be--1 tween Akaroa and Lyttelton. I An open bag to be takeu up and delivered at I Duvauchelle Bay if required. I No mail to exceed 40 pounds in weight.
