To Merchants and Contractors. fpHE Pbovincial Govebnment are ,-*■ prepared to receive tenders for a contract •^supply about Sixty Thousand, feet of Sawn Timber for the building of the Provincial Council Chamber and Government Offices. Particulars of- the Contract' and invoices of the boards and scantling required-will be ready for inspection at the office of Public Works in Christchurch, and at the Resident Magistrate's Office, Lyttelton, on and after Wednesday, the j 4th inst. The Timber must be delivered on the ground. The Tenders must be sent into this office on or before Wednesday, the 28th inst. (this day).
