A FARTHING DAMAGES. /MY TKI.I'XJUAI'H.—I'BKSS ASSOCIATION.! Napier, This Day. The libel case, Simpson v. Hawke's Pay Tribune, concluded yesterday. Tne jury found that the paragraph was a libel on the plaintiff, but that it was true. A farthing damageß were awarded. Defendant's applied for judgment on the findings, but Sir Robert Stout reserved the matter for consideration as the findings were inconsistent in that the jury found there was libel and that the paragraph was true. '
