Wood stated that Dr Collis Beownb was undoubtedly the inventor of "CHLORODYNE;" that the story of the defendant Freeman being tho inveator was deliberately untrue, which lie regretted had been sworn to. Eminent, Hospital Physicians of London stated that Dr J", Cqlms JBfiOWNE was the discoverer of Chlorodyne ; that they prescribed it largely, and mean us other than Dr Eiiowne's.— See Times, of July 12, 1864 The Public, therefore, are cautioned against using any other than Dr J. Coliis BkoWne's Chloiodyne. KEMEDIAL USES AND ACTION. " Extract from the General Board of Health, London, as to it» efficacy in Cholera: — "So ationgly convinced are we of the immense value of this remedy, that we cannot too forcibly urge the necessity of adopting it in all cases."
