The Government Meteorologist telegraphs as follows:—The conditions continue threatening; the indications are for strong westerly winds,; the weather is likely to be cloudy and unsettled; heavy raija is to be expected, with rivers rising shortly; barometer unsteady, with a further falling tendency • sea very heavy; tides good.
