DAIRY HERD COMPETITION

There seems to be a misunderstanding in regard to the date of closing of entries for this competition, and the time has therefore been extended to November 13th. Dairy farmers should certainly support the competition; it is a.most valuable test, and even on the basis of self interest it should be considered favorably, as it has been proved that a herd taking a reasonably high place on the list has had its value enhanced when it was disposed of by the owner who was able to produce his official returns from the Association. The cash prizes, moreover, are good, and a.valuable Challenge Cup goes to the winner.
