BY TELEGRAPH —PKEBS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, June 4. The Otaki Racing Club's winter meeting was continued in excellent weather before a fair attendance. The course was slightly on the heavy side. The totalisator handled a sum of £12,056 against £9499 for the second day last year, making a total for-the meeting of £30,594 against £23,633 last year. The following are the results:— : Telegraph Hack.—Aratjatia, 1; Yankee Doodle, 2; Axis, 3. All started. Woi by a head. Time, 1.3 3-n. Second Hurdles. —Sea Queen, 1; Rongomai, 2; Fond Memory, 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, 2. 53 1-5. Huia Handicap.—Vi, 1; Mulga Bill, 2; Toney, 3. All started. Won by a length. Stewards' Hack.—Kaniki, 1; Tiwari, 2; Borsi!, 3. Scratched: Sir Donald and Artificial. Won by a head. Time, 1.33 2-5. Railway Handicap.—lneuru, 1; Blue Lake, 2; Leapuki. 3. Also started: Altcar, Makara, Merry Frank, Sanguinary, j Roosevelt, Mysteriach and War Queen, j Won easily by a length and a half. Time, ] .18 3-5. Ohau Welter.—Redloh, 1; Parky, 2; Otama, 3. Also started: Stevens, Lord Kilcheran y Princess Flo, Hurakia, Astonishment, Perhaps and Redloh. Won by a length and a half. Time, 1.48 2-5. Final Hack Scurry. —Record, 1; Tiora,- - 2; Victoria, 3.
