Charcott's Antarctic expedition proceeds first to Terre Loubet and Alexander the First Land. It then proceeds south-west in order to fix the southern limits of Eastern Pacific and finally tries to join the British expedition under Lieut. Shackleton. The expedition expects to be absent two years.
