EELSO^, This Day. Several accidents were^raportad on Saturday : —

Whilst some men were engaged in the removal of a building in George street that morning, a man named Harry Buff had his leg badly broken.

A lad at Brightwater sustained severe iniuries from the kick of a hor*e.

A few days ago Alfred Baigent, of Wakefield, second son of Mr. Baigent formerly M.H.R for Waimea, fell down come stairs and injured his spine, and his death has resulted.

On Saturday afternoon a man named Williams, whilst working at a circular saw on Cross's wharf, bad his left hand drawn in, and his thumb almost severed.
