Wednesday, April 4. A limited number of stock hare come forward during the ptst fortnight. The yards at Kakaramea and Manaia were nearly empty on the sale days. At St. Hill-itreet to-day the sheep pens were fairly well fill«d, but cattle were m small numberi. Sheep did not quite maintain last sales' values, and there is no alteration in the quotation for cattle. Cattle. — Fat cows, L 4 15s to L 5 15s j ■tore Bteere, L 4 ss. Sheep. — About 1580 head were yarded today. Fat sheep, from 10s 9d to 11b 6d, according to weight ; store ewes, 7s 5d to 8s 6d ; good wethers, half-fatted, 0s Id to 9s 6d. Pigi sold well — Good porkert, 26s 6d to 33s 6d j bacon pigs, 41a to 42s 6d ; ntores, 14s 6d to 15i 6d. Hoases — About the usual number came forward, Draught horses, from LlB 10s to L 24 ; hacks at late values. Exports. — 25 cattle, 250 sheep, 50 horses.
