Hawera, Friday. Mr. Freeman B. Jackson reports : — The Bale to-day passed off fairly. The attendance was not large, but prices were in favor of she sellers. Bullocks, well grown, £6 7s 6d; steers, £4 ss; cows, £5; heifers, JB3 158 ; yearlings, £2. 7s 6d and £2 12s. One hundred and thirty-six head wera yarded, and all sold at the auction, or afterwards.
