TO THE PUBLIC OF ROTORUA.

Gentlemen, —In thanking you for the very liberal patronage which you have bestowed upon me since commencing business in Rotorua I think it only my duty to open your eyes to the manner in which you are being induced to go to other markets for goods which can be obtained here locally, of better manufacture and at less cost. Travellers representing city establishments come here periodically and by their blandishments do their level best to persuade you (in some instances successfully) that they can supply a superior article at a cheaper rate than you can obtain it in your own town. I must emphatically contradict such assertions, and in support of my denial I would invito vou to call at mv TAILORING and CLOTHING ESTABLISHMENT and inspect the class of goods supplied by me and compare my charges with the prices ask?d for by travelling hucksters who furnish misfit stlits, which when received are a constant source of irritation, on account of the shoddy nature of the material. and the bad lit of the garment. I only keep the best class of goods procurable in the market, and I guarantee the perfect fit and stylo of every article produced in my workshop at a price lower than these ruling in Auckland. I thank you again for your patronage, and v.-ould call upon you to give your suppo. fc to Local Industry, and so provent. these MISFIT TAILORS from flooding the Town with Uncouth Garments of shoddy material, bad style, and produced by Sweat Labor.—l am, gonj tleman, your obedient servant, M. SIMON, Practical Tailor, | advt. (Late of Melbourne.)
