She vomited a corroded halfpenny which she swallowed e : ght years ago. The coin had not hitherto inconvenieLced her. The /r';hbishop of Canterbury states that; the authorities providing compulsory Becular education are bound to provide religious instruofcion, parents being allowed to choose the religion in which their children shall be brought up. He declares that the prevalence of juvenile crime emphasises the necessity for religious teaching.
