The "Full Court at Brisbane dismissed the appeal of Messrs Brown and Beid, who were recently nonnited in an action brought against the Speaker of the Legisb tire Assembly, for t>eir pxpulsion from the House in •September last. An interesting discovery, instancing the ignorance of bank officials regarding their monetary assets, occurred at the Commercial Banking Company's office recently. The teller, requiring more sixpences, was supplied with a bag from the vault, which wns found to contain brand new " Lion " coins of 1829 date—some £4O or so. As the specimen is very scarce it has bean decideJ (says Sydney Truth) to scad the sixpences to England' where, it is anticipated, they will fetch 7s 6d each' This is handsome interest surely.
