BRITAIN AND WAR
THE WAR CABINET.
WIIO> WILI/ KEPSESENT NEW
ZEALAND.
Some .announcement should be made in the course of a few pecks' as to who is to represent this country at the uext meeting of the Imperial War Cabinet, to be held in April of next j year. It is well understood that Mr. Massey is not going out of. New" Zealand to attend it, .so that if New Zea- . land is to be repvcscivted it will have' to be. by another Minister, or perhaps by other Ministers. The opinion is held that ' Sir Joseph Ward may go. and that possibly Sir James; Allen Will accompany him. If another Minister .is to accompany Sir Joseph Ward it will I almost certainly. 'be. ttyc Defence Jtinisteiy partly b'ceauserlie hplds t'liisjin- ' por tan t portfolio," and partly because he is not unknown to the . gentlemen I he will have to mee.t at the Imperial I Cabinet table Def eitcc : administration required so much, of , the attention of the Minister some time ago that, it would not perhaps have been possible ■ for the Government to have allowed Sir James Allen to go, but it should . u.ot now. be, impossible for another Minister to" amy on the work, ",
