POLLARDS
The sensational 5 act Triangle drama, "The Bad Boy,' 1 with two Triangle stars, Robert 1 llerron, and Mildred Harris in the leading rolg-, forms the attraction at Pollard 's Prcture display to-morrow (Sunday) evening, in the Opera Uouse. The story of the degeneration, of a lad is strikingly unfolded in this unusual Triangle piay j that is to 1)C screened to-mottqw even-' ing. Robert iterron takes the leading role, and is well nigh perfect in it. The first scenes show' the incorrigible Jim at school, always in dire trouble and the .disgrace of the village. ' Harshly treated by his father, he- runs j away, and then becomes the associate ' of a bad and dangerous gang of -crim- j inals. The change in. his nature, and ' the sudden realisation of where his • deeds are leading him, come about with beautiful naturalness and the j play will be greeted by all picturegoers as .something quite out of the ! ordinary. Mildred Harris, Triangle's [ sixteen year old star is the 'most ex- 1 t(u'jfy'itc hrrt/jtn; both in tilt' oarly ' scenes, where she is a school girl, and ' in later years when, grown up she ' still has faith in Jim, and eventually I brings about bis return to better ' things. The settings of the scenes are wonderful, particularly in the? jiigJit j tobbery at the, bank; The play is i full of sudden turns and surprises, I and there #re some terrific fights] notably the iast. struggle between Jim ' and the sole. survivor of. the gang. 1
