NEW ZEALAND TELEGRAMS
[per press association ] Blenheim, November 14. A child named John Hodgson, 16 months old, son of a settler at Okaramio, was accidentally drowned in a tub of water. Wellington, November 14, W. Watson, ex-President, and Martin Kennedy were nominated by the shareholders to the directorate of the Bank of New Zealand. There being no other candidates, these two were elected. Four others have to be appointed by the Govemor-in-Council.
