AUSTRALIAN CRICKET.
Melbourne, January 3. The cricket-match between the Australian team and the Combined Eleven of Australia, was resumed to-day, when the former resumed their first innings and remained in all day, scoring 910 runs with nine wickets down. The following are the scores of to-day's play : — Bonnor. run out, 2 ; Midwinter, c and b, 9; Blackham, b, 0 ; Alexander, c, 50 ; Palmer, b, 5 ; Cooper, c, 53 ; Boyle, not out, 40 ; Murdoch, not out, 270. Total for nine wickets, including yesterday's scores, 619. Not much interest was taken in the match and the attendance to-day was small.
