SEALED TENDERS will be received at the General Post Office, Wellington, until NOON of SATURDAY, the 21st JULY next, for the perfoimance during a period of t welve months, commencing from a date hereafter to be fixed by the PostmasterGeneral, of any of the undermentioned steam services, viz. :— 1. Between Nelson, Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika, and vice versa, once every four weeks. 2. Between Port Chalmers and the Weßt Coast ports of the Middle Island, monthly. A steamer to leave Port Chalmers once in every month, proceeding to the West Coast of the Middle Island, byway of Cook and Foveaux Straits, alternately. The steamer to call at Lyttelton, Picton, Nelson, Westport, Greymoutb, Hokitika, and The Bluff ; and also, when required, at Oamaru, Timaru, Martin's Bay, Milford Sound, Preservation Inlet, and Port William in Stewart's Island ; .' and at such other places as the Postmaster- ; General may from time to time direct.
