The votes recorded in the Nelson Superintendency election, so far as they were known on Wednesday night, were— For Curtis, 1421 ; for O'Conor, 1186 ; giving Cur is a majority of 235. Sines then the returns from Lyell make the total for O'Conor (by 37 votes) 1223, and for Curtis (by 8 votes) 1429, or a majority of 206. The Matakitaki, Collingwood, and some other returns have yet to be received. Yesterday, in Nelson, the majority stood, according to returns, at 269.
