NEWS OF VARIOUS HAPPENINGS (Received April 21, 9.20 a.m.) London, April 20. The Figaro says it is rumoured in Rome that Italy fixed to-day as the last day for a definite answer from Austria to Italy's demands. Alexandria, April 20. M. Venezelos. ex-Premier of Greece, has arrived in Egypt. He was greet, ed by a frantic demonstration on the quay. He was welcomed by the Siiltan's brother and was presented with addresses from the French and Brit- ' ish colonies.
