THE HARRIERS.
The Feilding harriers' Wednesday team turned out yesterday in fair muster to get into a bit of form for tlie opening run of the season on the 7th inst. A good cross-country course was -selected by L. Smith and J. Fisher, who made tlie pace. AVith very few stops the pack kept going at a good strong pace .which proved that the runners were in fair condition. All who turned out ran well, and from present indications the club ought to have sonic first-class runners this season. There will be another run on Saturday next, which will be the last of the impromptu gallops until the opening of the season on May 7. on which clay the Palmerston harriers will assist.
