JENNESS, ANTHROPOLOGIST.
Mr D. Jenness, 8.A., of Wellington, who, according to. cabled advices, has been appointed a member of Professor Stefiansson's Canadian Arctic expedition as anthropologist, stated yesterday that he had received a cablegram three weeks ago offering him the position, which he accepted. Dotai'ls of the engagement, "however, are not available, as instructions are awaiting him in British Columbia. Ho has not yet decided when he will leave for America.
