BOWLING.
GREAT FINISH IN THE PAIRS
The last match for the Pairs Prize of the Feilding Club \vi\h played yesterday, the final being fought' out' between Bartholomew and Harrison v. Mason and P. Thomson. The latter pair could not go wrong at any stage of .the game, both the lead and the skip playing "like a book." On the other hand, it was not Bartholomew's day out, and Harrison fell short of his usual form. The result was a runaway win. the Mason-Thomson combine winning by 44 to 8. Mr Ma-. son, who is a .young bowler, has played a splendid game this sensrn, ami well deserves th? victory which he fj'.mree with His clever veteran lead.
